Everett HS Lincoln Field synthetic turf replacement (completed)
This project includes replacement of the existing synthetic turf surface with new synthetic turf surface. The old surface is worn out due to age and a high rate of use, and is in need of replacement. The original field was installed in 2004.

The new synthetic turf surface is finished, new backstop netting installed and students are enjoying the field!
Project update as of September 12, 2018
The contractor achieved substantial completion on August 8, 2018. The last pending item is owner training.
Project update as of August 9, 2018
The contractor has completed the installation of the new synthetic turf surface. Site clean-up is underway. New backstop netting is being installed.

The contractor has removed and disposed of the old synthetic turf. They have made needed modifications to the existing under-field drainage system and leveled the crushed rock base layer. Currently the contractor is paving the rubberized e-layer. The e-lay is a padding that is installed under the synthetic turf field.
Project update as of June 14, 2018
Coast to Coast is under contract. They received the Notice to Proceed on June 7, 2018 and are scheduled to begin work on site on June 18, 2018. We have accepted COP-001 to upgrade the turf to a heavier fabric.
Project update as of May 10, 2018
Coast to Coast Turf is the low bidder for the project. The school board accepted their bid on May 8, 2018. The contract paperwork is being prepared to send out.

The project went out to bid on April 4, the second advertisement date was April 10). The walk through of the project site is April 12. The bids are due on April 24.

The drawings and project specifications are being finalized to go out for bid.

DA Hogan is continuing to move forward with design. The team is gathering feedback from coaches regarding the existing deign. The team will incorporate this information into the new design.
