Everett High exterior finish restoration (completed)

This project included cleaning, sealing, caulking, and repointing of the existing exterior masonry and terra cotta, to preserve and enhance the historical façade of the school.

September 1, 2019
Phase I of the project is complete. The top of the cornices as well as the top of the north and south entrances porticos have been sealed. A repair to a portion of the terra cotta on the underside of the cornice is complete.  The design team continues work on the bid package for phase II, which includes the vertical surfaces of the building. This portion of work is scheduled for the summer of 2020.

 

August 1, 2019
Axiom Division has begun work of the cornice. They are on schedule to be done by the end of August.

 

June 25, 2019
One bid was received for the work to replace the waterproofing membrane on the cornice. Work will begin in July.

 

Apr. 1, 2019
The design team continues the investigation phase to determine the total scope of the project.

 

Mar. 26, 2019
An on-site exploratory visit is occurred on March 19. The design team is in the process of evaluating the information they collected during the visit and compiling it into a report.

 

Mar. 14, 2019
The design team is in the investigation phase to determine the complete scope of the project. An on-site exploratory visit is scheduled for March 18 & 19.
