Everett HS Vocational Building Medical Pathways Program (completed)
The district will build two simulation labs and four science wet labs in the second and third story of the vocational building at Everett High School.

The permit has been approved by the City of Everett and is ready for pick-up. The project is being submitted to the board for their approval a call for bids at their 3/23/2021 meeting. Bid documents are in hand and under review.

Permits are pending with the City of Everett. Phase two of the project has been awarded to JCK Enterprises Inc. Work will commence towards the end of February 2021.P

Permits have been submitted to the City of Everett. The project is out to bid, and the bid due date is January 7, 2021.

The architect has provided the project drawings and is in the process of submitting for the building permit. The project will go out to bid in December 2020.

The architect is making final edits to the plans and will submit for permit soon. The specifications are in the draft stage.

We have identified additional work to be completed in the vocational building. We have retained Dykeman Architect to work on the additional phase of the project.
September 9, 2020
A series of meetings have taken place onsite to determine further improvements to the vocation building to support the Medical Pathways Project. A meeting with key personal will take place on September 15th to further our discussion and plans. Staff is working with OSPI to add scope to the project to expend approximately $400K that remains in the project budget.

The contractor has submitted the necessary close out documents and will take the project to the board on May 19 to request final acceptance of the project.

Phase Two is underway. The contractor has completed rough in plumbing and electrical and is the process of drywall and paint. The work will be complete within the next 30 days.

Phase one has been completed with the exception of room E112, in which structural damage was discovered in the ceiling. The school has use of the newly built out office, storage room, special services strive classroom and two second story classrooms. They also occupy the two renovated spaces in the basement of B building for classrooms.
