North MS Gym RTU Replacement (completed)

The scope of work includes replacement of the two gas fired roof top units on the main gym that were not replaced during the modernization, and upgrading the existing controls to match the new.

September 29, 2022   
The new control board has been installed and replacing one failed blower wheel is underway.  Punch list and close out remain.

September 1, 2022
Startup was completed on August 18.  Two issues were identified that are being addressed between the contractor and the manufacturer.  Punch list and close out remain.

The units are in place.  Control work needs to be completed and then startup will be scheduled.

No change since May update.

The units have been delivered to the contractor's yard for storage.  Installation remains.

April 1, 2022
The units are expected to arrive April 22, so the installation has been pushed from spring break to just after school is out.

March 1, 2022
The contractor is in the process of verifying the delivery date for the two units.

February 1, 2022
Site visit by the project superintendent has taken place and we are currently tracking for installation over spring break.

January 4, 2022 
Equipment has been ordered.  If it arrives on time, we may be able to install over Spring Break.

Johansen Mechanical is under contract for the project.

A site visit has taken place with the engineer and contractor to complete the planning for the work.

The engineer has provided a proposal for the design work.
