Welcome to Native Education/Title VI Program
-
Welcome to our school district's Native Education and Title VI Program webpage! We are proud to honor the deep importance of Native Education in public schools and remain committed to ensuring that Native students feel seen, valued, and supported in every aspect of their educational journey. Through our Title VI initiatives, we work to uplift Native voices, celebrate cultural knowledge, and provide meaningful opportunities for students and families to stay connected. Our district recognizes that Native culture, presence, and identity enrich our classrooms and strengthen our community as a whole, and we strive every day to create a learning environment that reflects respect, inclusion, and cultural pride.
As a new and growing program, our first year is focused on:
- Growth and development of an American Indian/Alaska Native Parent Advisory Committee
- Building a strong foundation that supports and uplifts our Native student, families, and community
- Prioritizing authentic connections with Native students and families
- Strengthen Tribal, district, and community partnerships
