Dispute Resolution
-
Disputes may arise between the school district and homeless students and their parents, or unaccompanied youth, regarding eligibility for McKinney-Vento services, school placement, or transportation. The Washington state Office of Superintendent of Public Instruction (OSPI) has developed a dispute resolution process as required by the federal McKinney-Vento Act. Information about the dispute resolution process is available on the OSPI website. Everett Public Schools dispute resolution process information and paperwork are available here. For additional information contact: Everett Public Schools KIT Office Email KIToffice@everettsd.org or call 425-385-4032.
