My Achievers Program (MAP)
MAP motivates and advocates for disadvantaged and under-represented youth to achieve higher education goals. Focused on social justice, MAP encourages students to have meaningful conversations about culture, identity, social responsibility and more. MAP also provides help with homework, preparation for the transition to high school, and opportunities for college and career exploration.Youth Development Program (YDP)
The Youth Development Program (YDP) is a joint initiative between NAACP Snohomish County Branch and Everett Community College's Diversity and Equity Center. It is designed to meet the specific needs of students of African Descent.Everett Community College
Everett Community College collaborates with Everett Public Schools in a variety of ways to include, but not limited to, Diversifying Pathways Project, Students of Color Conference, Running Start, and College in the High School.Diversifying Pathways Project Management Team
The Diversifying Pathways Project is a partnership between Everett Public Schools, University of Washington Bothell, Everett Community College, and Marysville School District. The goal of this collaborate work is to develop and sustain cross-institutional partnerships that support seamless academic student pathways for North Puget Sound residents from under-represented communities into teaching and healthcare careers.Music4Life
Music4Life provides ready-to-play musical instruments at no charge to public school districts and encourages them to make these instruments available to students in need. See the superintendent letter of endorsement.
