Technology Orientation
-
Everett Public Schools equips staff and students with technology that enhances learning and work, connecting each member of the district community in leveraging technology to engage deeply in creation, collaboration, and connection. In our district we utilize both Office 365 for Education and Google for Education environments.
-
Beginning in Everett Public Schools is a process of discovery. Understanding the district's infrastructure and supports includes both the physical buildings and the digital pathways.
Technology use is supported by our community and digital safety and cybersecurity are important components to strong, reliable service. Everett Public Schools Board of Directors has approved a set of Technology-Related Policies and Procedures to assure staff and students are both responsible and protected. Appropriate use guidelines are key and outlined here in these key board policies.

Getting Started
-
Joining the Everett Public Schools community begins for students with enrollment into one of our schools and being set to active in our student information system (eSchool PLUS).
If set to active in the morning, the students account is set up for their student number to allow them log in to a district computer. Overnight - active students are set up with a variety of core tools. Once accounts are created, the student can be scheduled and if their classes are active then course-specific digital resources are made available overnight.
Student Basics
