CTE Signature STEM Program

  • Everett Public Schools Signature STEM programs are specialized career opportunities available to students. For a full year, students will learn with a unique cohort of students from across the district. Each program offers industry certifications, opportunities to meet and learn from industry professionals in the classroom and field trip visits to local facilities in our area. Several of these programs also offer college credit. While you have many opportunities to earn Industry Training in high school, (click here to learn about all options) we currently, we have five programs here in Everett Public Schools.     Aerospace Engineering and Manufacturing Academy

    • Discover the world of astronomy and aerospace principles. Develop manufacturing skills necessary to solve complex problems commonly found in industries such as aerospace and maritime, while also building understanding of flight engineering and the universe. This academy includes two courses, Astronomy and Aerospace Engineering and Manufacturing; combined to offer a unique blend of science and engineering. 

    Automotive Mechatronics Academy

    • Gain a deep understanding of mechanical and electrical engineering concepts and automation. This academy includes three courses, Automotive Technology 1, Automotive Technology 2, and Mechatronics; combined to provide students with practical skills that prepare them for careers in automotive technology and manufacturing.

    Aviation Technology Academy - NEW (Combination option that blends the Manufacturing and Automotive Academies)

    • Develop a foundation for a future career through hands-on mechanical, electrical, and advanced manufacturing coursework.  This academy includes three courses, Automotive Technology 1, Automotive Technology 2, and Manufacturing; combined to provide students for exciting opportunities in aviation technology and engineering. 

    Cisco Networking Academy

    • Unlock your tech future with our comprehensive Cisco Certified Network Associate curriculum, including Introduction to Networking (ITN), Switching, Routing, and Wireless Essentials (SRWE), and Enterprise Networking, Security, and Automation (ENSA) courses.  This academy includes one 2-period block course, providing you with the skills and certifications that pave the way for exciting careers in networking and IT.

    Healthcare Academy

    • Step into the world of healthcare, building knowledge, developing practical skills, and earning certifications needed to start a rewarding career, such as Home Care Aide, Nursing Assistant Certified, and more. This academy includes three courses, Introduction to Patient Care, Medical Terminology, and Nutrition & Wellness, combined to provide a strong foundation for a future in health sciences and patient care

    Naval Junior ROTC

    • Build leadership, citizenship, and important life skills through teamwork and service. Courses include NJROTC 1–4 and Drill Dynamics. This is not a military recruiting program—it’s an opportunity to grow as a leader and make a positive impact in your community. Students take one NJROTC course per year, in sequence. Traveling students take one year of NJROTC and another course at Everett High School needed to meet their graduation requirements.
