Work Readiness Program

  • Work Readiness is a no-cost program for youth ages 16-24 whose goal is to obtain their GED and become employed. A Washington State Certificated teacher leads students through a variety of life skill lessons and activities in the on-site Learning Center. Employment specialists assist students with career exploration and building employment skills.
     
    The Work Readiness Program provides:
    • on-site case management
    • work readiness instruction
    • academic instruction
    • paid work experience
    • on-the job training
    • job placement assistance
    • follow-up services
     
    Assistance is given to access other support services such as:
    • housing
    • domestic issues
    • transportation
    • legal issues
    • physical/mental health
    • substance abuse
