Superintendent, since July 2019. He was regional superintendent of The School District of Palm Beach County since 2016. Prior to that, he was area superintendent of areas 1 and 5, superintendent of Transformation Schools, and director of School Accountability. Dr. Saltzman has served as a principal of elementary, middle and high schools, and taught middle school special education. He holds a Bachelor of Arts and a Master’s Degree in Special Education from Florida State University, and a Specialists and Doctorate Degree in Educational Leadership from Nova Southeastern University.

Deputy Superintendent, since 2019. Peter served as associate superintendent for curriculum, assessment and special programs, assistant superintendent for teaching and learning supervising south region schools, principal at Gateway Middle School, and assistant principal at Evergreen Middle. Dr. Scott began his career teaching special education and mathematics in Oakland, California and Boston, Massachusetts. Peter holds a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from the University of California at Davis, a Master of Education from Harvard University and a Doctor of Education from the University of Washington.

Chief Academic Officer, since 2020. Shelley has served students as a director of elementary schools and principal supervisor (Marysville School District), principal at Gateway Middle and Penny Creek Elementary Schools in Everett, and principal at English Crossing Elementary School in Lakewood, Washington. Dr. Boten’s teaching career started as a Kindergarten teacher before finishing as a 5th grade teacher in Lake Stevens. Shelley holds a Bachelor of Arts in French from Michigan State University, a Master of Education from Seattle University and a Doctor of Education from the University of Washington.

Chief Operating Officer since 2024. Larry oversees facilities, planning, maintenance, operations, transportation, and community services. He leads the district's strategic plan implementation and three advisory councils. Since 2016, Larry has held cabinet-level roles, including regional and assistant superintendent. In addition, he was principal at Evergreen Middle and assistant principal at Cascade High. He began his career in Vancouver, WA, teaching high school science and managing a district program in science, math, and technology. Larry holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology and a Master of Arts in Teaching from the University of Portland and has pursued graduate studies at Washington State University.

Teaching & Learning Regional Superintendent – Region One, since 2022. Cathy has been principal of Cascade High and principal of Gateway Middle School, as well as director of College & Career Readiness and On-Time Graduation. Prior to coming to Everett, Cathy was principal of Ferrucci Junior High in Puyallup and assistant principal of Northwood Junior High in Kent. Cathy earned her Bachelor of Arts in Spanish from lowa State University, her Master of Education in educational administration from Western Washington University, and her Doctor of Education in educational leadership from Washington State University.

Teaching & Learning Regional Superintendent – Region Two, since 2022. Prior to Everett, Pete was the executive director of Instructional Leadership for Highline Public Schools. In addition, Pete has been an associate director and senior lecturer for the Danforth Educational Leadership Program at the University of Washington. Pete also spent ten years as a principal in the Northshore School District. Pete earned his Bachelor of Arts in history from Western Washington University, his Master of Education from City University, his principal certification from the University of Washington, and his Doctor of Education from the University of Washington.

Chief Information Officer, since 2016. Brian leads the Learning and Information Technology Services Department and works on the Integrated Technology Plan. Previously, Brian was a high and middle school principal in the Arlington School District as well as the Evergreen Middle School assistant principal in Everett. He started out in education as a middle school ELA teacher and high school counselor. Brian holds a Bachelor of Arts in Education and a Masters in Guidance and Counseling from Washington State University. He earned his principal and superintendent certifications at Western Washington University. He is currently a doctoral candidate in the education administration program at Washington State University.

Executive Director of Special Services, since 2020. Kelley supports students that require some Special Services to gain an equitable education. Since 2013, Kelley served as a Special Education Director in the Bellevue School District, primarily championing the work of inclusion for students with special needs. Prior to that, she worked in Seattle Schools for 16 years as a Special Education Supervisor, Consulting Teacher and a Special Education Teacher serving K-5 students. Kelley founded First Place, one of the first schools for homeless students in Seattle. Kelley received a BS in Biology and BA in Elementary Education from Washington State University, continuing her education at Antioch University, earning a Master’s in Education. She completed Special Education Endorsement through Seattle Pacific University and obtained her Principal and Program Administrator credentials at City University.

Executive Director of College & Career Readiness and Extended Learning Options, since 2022. Jeanne joined Everett in 2006 as literacy facilitator. Throughout her career in Everett, Jeanne has been an instructional technology specialist, director of On-Time Graduation and regional superintendent. Prior to Everett, Jeanne was a literacy lead and teacher at Islander Middle School on Mercer Island and middle school English Language Arts teacher and literacy coach in Brooklyn, New York. Jeanne received her Bachelor of Arts in history from Carnegie Mellon University, two master's degrees, and a Doctorate of Educational Leadership from Washington State University.

Director of Choice and STEM Partnerships, since September 2020. Anthony recently worked as an independent consultant focused on improving equitable opportunities for all students. Previously, he was Deputy Superintendent of Pittsburgh Public Schools for three years and a regional superintendent in Duval County, FL. He has also served as principal of Glades Central High School and as both a middle and elementary school principal. Anthony began his career as a middle school teacher and previously served as a sergeant in the U.S. Air Force. He holds a bachelor’s degree from Nova Southeastern University, a master’s in education from Florida Atlantic University, and is currently pursuing a Doctor of Education from Liberty University.

Director of Categorical Programs, since August 2021. Chris joins Everett Public Schools from his position as Principal of Lynndale Elementary in the Edmonds School District, where he served for nine years. Mr. Fulford also served the Seattle School District as South Shore house administrator and PE teacher beginning in 2005. He was assistant women's basketball coach at Northwest University for two years as well as a current adjunct professor in their Educational Leadership Program. Chris earned his bachelor’s in secondary education from Northwest University, a Master of Educational Administration and Principal Certification from Western Washington University and a Certificate in Washington P-3 Executive Leadership from the University of Washington.

Director of Assessment and Research, since July 2024. In Everett, Michele has served as an assistant principal at Everett High, a principal of Evergreen Middle, and she served as the Director of Instructional Technology and Learning Services. Previously, Michele served as a teacher, an athletic coordinator, and teacher on special assignment in Edmonds School District for 15 years. She holds a Bachelor of Science and a Bachelor of Arts and teaching certification from Central Washington University, a Master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction, a principal certification from Western Washington University, and is currently a doctoral candidate in the education administration program at Western Washington University.

Director of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, since August 2019. Joi was the Instructional Support Team Leader in the South Region of Palm Beach County School District. Over the years, she has demonstrated exceptional leadership as a teacher, specialist and administrator working with various diverse backgrounds and communities. Highlights of her experiences are working with school-based and district administrators, resource teachers and academic coaches discussing standards-based teaching and learning to guide appropriate professional development. She holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Elementary Education from Bethune Cookman University in Daytona Beach, Florida, a Master's and Specialist Degree in Educational Leadership from Nova Southeastern University in Davie, Florida.

Director of Student Support Services, since Fall 2020. Before serving in this role, Dave served as a teacher and administrator at Cascade High School and Jackson High School for 23 years. With a long history of school experience, Dave brings his passion for relationships into his work with Social-Emotional Learning (SEL) and tiered levels of supports for students. Dave holds a Bachelor’s degree in Missionary Aviation/Technology from Moody Aviation and in Math/Physics for Teaching from Montana State University. He earned his Master’s degree in Education Administration from Western Washington University.
