  • Dear Everett Public Schools community,

As we settle into the rhythm of the school year, I want to take a moment to thank each of you for your commitment to ensuring our students are set up for success. The energy across our schools has been incredible, and it is inspiring to see how our community continues to come together for the benefit of our students.

An important part of student success is attendance. Research shows that students who attend school regularly are more likely to succeed academically, build strong relationships with their peers and teachers, and develop essential life skills. Every day counts, and your partnership in ensuring that students are present and engaged is vital.

We understand that challenges can arise, but our schools are here to support families in overcoming barriers to attendance. Whether it is helping to navigate transportation issues, providing health services, or working through personal challenges, we are committed to ensuring every student has the opportunity to thrive.

To strengthen communication and keep families connected, we have launched ParentSquare, a tool designed to help parents stay informed about important school updates and events. I encourage all families to download the app and stay actively involved. Your participation is key to your child’s success, and we are committed to building strong home-school partnerships through clear and timely communication.

Together, we can ensure that every student is present, engaged, and supported.

Thank you for your continued commitment to making Everett Public Schools a place where all students can thrive. I look forward to sharing more exciting updates with you as the school year progresses.

    Sincerely,

    Dr. Ian B. Saltzman
