Superintendent's Message, February 4, 2025

Dear Everett Public Schools community,
As we enter February and the second semester of the school year, Everett Public Schools will continue to uphold our commitment to excellence in education. This month is filled with opportunities to reflect and celebrate within our school community as we recognize and honor several significant observances.
We acknowledge School Counseling Week February 3-7 by highlighting the invaluable contributions of our dedicated school counselors. Their care, motivation, and support are integral to our students' success, and I extend my heartfelt gratitude to each counselor for their unwavering commitment.
February also marks Career and Technical Education (CTE) Month, emphasizing the diverse pathways to learning both inside and beyond the classroom. Our CTE department and teachers play a pivotal role in preparing students for future careers, and I applaud their dedication and innovation in education.
Additionally, we commemorate Black History Month, a time to celebrate the achievements and profound impact of African Americans throughout American history.
Thank you to our community for your continued dedication to supporting our students.
Be safe and be well,
