Anna Marie Jackson Laurence earned her Bachelor of Arts in American History from Stanford University and her Juris Doctor in Law from University of Detroit School of Law. She is the daughter of Senator Henry M. Jackson and has previously served as a Snohomish County Deputy Prosecutor. Her experience includes work with the US Army Corps of Engineers, the Office of the Secretary of Defense, Congressman Tom Foley, advocating for children in county courts, and as a leader in school parent organizations.

Ms. Laurence serves on the board of governors for the Henry M. Jackson Foundation. She continues to serve in many community leadership roles including the Rotary Club of Everett, the Assistance League of Everett, and the Gertrude Jackson Memorial Scholarship.  She and her husband live in Everett and have two children.
