Mrs. Langley has worked for over a decade as an elementary teacher in public schools across Washington, teaching kindergarten through fourth grade in Dual Language and Title 1 schools. She currently serves in the Gifted and Talented program in the Lake Washington School District. She earned her B.A. in General Studies with a focus on International Social Justice and Business from Western Washington University, and her Master of Arts in Teaching from the University of Portland.

Mrs. Langley has been an active community leader, serving as Chair of the 38th Legislative District Democrats, a union leader with the Lake Washington Education Association, a faculty advisor for the High School Democrats of Snohomish County, and as a cultural arts commissioner for the City of Everett. She and her husband, a veteran of the U.S. Army, live in Everett and are committed to supporting public education and student success in the community.
