The Fiscal Advisory Council (FAC) is a group comprised of community members, students, and staff representation that reviews district instructional and operational initiatives to provide input essential to successful fiscal planning and budget adoption.
Between October and June each year, the FAC works in conjunction with the superintendents’ cabinet, reviewing information and providing feedback throughout the entire budget development process. The process incorporates legislative outcomes and needs identified in the state of the school reviews while aligning budget priorities with the district Annual Operating, and Strategic Plans. An annual report is provided to the board each year.
