Purpose
The Career Technical Education (CTE) General Advisory Committee helps plan the training of our future workforce.
The CTE General Advisory Committee includes representatives from regional, high-demand industry sectors, and their guidance helps to ensure students are learning the most current workplace skills.
Committee members provide strategic direction, context and information that define and refine the district's STEM and CTE programs.
Committee contributions may include:
- Strengthening partnerships with industry, business, and labor
- Identifying and validating academic and occupational competencies
- Reviewing goals, objectives and programs and then recommending priorities
- Reviewing and refining communication for students, parents, employers and the community
