Cooking from Scratch
-
Every day at Everett Public Schools meals are prepared and served at each school, there is no central kitchen. All kitchens are equipped with a mixer, ovens, refrigerator, freezer and dishwasher. Having onsite preparation allows our staff to prepare more items from scratch. Preparing items from scratch gives us more control over quality, production and selection. Our Keep It Fresh Team looks to improve current recipes, create new recipes and test new ideas.
Here are a few recipes from our menu that have been converted for you to make at home, enjoy!
Pumpkin Custard (special treat served in November and December)
