Contracts

  • CERTIFICATED -  There are three types of contracts: Continuing, Provisional and Leave Replacement.  A leave replacement contract is valid for one year or semester.  If you have signed a letter of intent, you will receive a contract once you submit your valid certificate and your hire is approved by the Board.  Contracts are issued in the late spring for the following school year.  

    There are three categories of contracts: Base, Tri/Enrichment, and Supplemental.  Contracts are currently issued electronically via Employee Online and you will receive an email to your work email address and home email address notifying you when your contract has been issued.  When you log into Employee Online you can read, print (for your records), and electronically sign and submit your acceptance of the contract.  Contracts must be signed and submitted within ten days of the date of issuance.  All new hire certificated employee contracts will reflect the B+0/00 placement on the schedule and a new contract will not be issued until salary placement has been finalized.  However, we will ensure placement is accurate based on the information we have at the time of issuance.

    The annual employee salary is paid in twelve (12) equal installments from September through August.  Salaries for mid-year hires are annualized and paid equal installments over the remaining number of months through August.
